Sino-American Relations in 2008: a preview
Today Chinese law consiglieri Dan Harris pointed his readers to an article in The Nation on how Obama and Clinton would Change Sino-American relations. The article is somewhat dated with respect to Obama and Clinton's general positions on these issues, in the sense that they've both displayed interventionist attitudes throughout the campaign. (In fact, like HillBilly, I think I am well within my rights to accuse Nation Washington correspondent John Nichols of plagiarizing my earlier thoughts on the concept.) Also, The Nation is a little too focused on the Democrats for my taste, so if you want to see what President McCainiac would do with respect to China, take a look at that earlier post I wrote back before Giuliani & Co. fizzled out.
