USTR's 2007 Report to Congress on China's WTO Compliance

Fresh on the heels of USTR Susan Schwab and Vice Premier Wu Yi (a.k.a. "The Iron Maiden") kicking the media out of the annual meeting of the JCCT so that they could have an international shouting match behind closed doors, the USTR released its annual report on China's compliance with the WTO Accession Protocol. I have to say that I'm somewhat annoyed by the Report, in that I just finished a paper on how the Accession Protocol impacts the People's Courts. But I suspect that Madame Wu might be somewhat more incensed than me, given how the report focuses so strongly upon "China’s continued pursuit of problematic industrial policies that rely on excessive Chinese government intervention in the market through an array of trade-distorting measures." I guess it's revision time...
